Project Description

Control of crystal size and shape in batch and continuous crystallization processes through process design and intensification. Developed a classification framework for predicting the achievable size and shape for batch cooling crystallization of various organic and inorganic system. Optimize batch and continuous crystallization systems for size and shape analysis under various mechanisms such as nucleation, growth, dissolution and breakage (stirring or milling). Furthermore, studied the crystallization in porous polymer particles in batch systems.
